The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Workplace Trainer to join our dedicated team to support the coordination of quality care delivery and continuous improvement. This role focuses on staff education and compliance with aged care standards. We are looking for someone with a broad understanding of the aged care sector, who is confident working in a highly regulated environment. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, this role works collaboratively with the leadership team to support a safe, high-quality care environment through staff training and governance systems. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an education program that reflects evolving legislative requirements and best practices in aged care. Deliver onboarding education and orientation for new staff, and support ongoing training across care staff. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and contribute to their improvement through data, feedback, and audits. Facilitate the implementation of induction and buddy programs for new starters. What youll Bring: Proven experience in a senior clinical educator role within a highly regulated aged care environment, with a demonstrated ability to support or lead care teams. A strong track record in improving clinical outcomes, with in-depth knowledge of continuous quality improvement frameworks and aged care accreditation standards. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, along with completed tertiary qualifications in Nursing. Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to support the delivery of highquality learning and development initiatives. Strong clinical judgment and proficient assessment, decisionmaking, and problemsolving capabilities. Highly organised with a strong attention to detail, and able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic care environment. Confident using technology, including healthcare information systems and digital platforms, to support compliance, training, and clinical care.
