Men''s Domestic & Family Violence Practitioner Edon Place Domestic and Family Violence Centre Bundaberg QLD EDON Place Domestic and Family Violence Service is a not-for-profit organisation. The service is the lead provider for domestic and family violence in Bundaberg and the North Burnett Region. The service offers a holistic approach to people affected by domestic and family violence with the necessary support and resources to break the cycle of domestic and family violence. Position EDON Place are seeking a Mens Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Practitioner to join our team based in Bundaberg on a part-time basis. The primary purpose of this role is to engage with men who perpetrate domestic and family violence. The DFV Practitioner will support the coordinator and cofacilitators of the Perpetrator Intervention Programme including the running of the Responsible and Respectful Choices Mens Group programme. The DFV Practitioner will provide court support for men ensuring they receive guidance and assistance throughout the legal process. The position will also involve networking with police, the criminal justice sector, and other agencies and services that work in the domestic and family violence field, fostering collaboration to enhance service delivery and outcomes for clients. Other responsibilities for this position include general administrative tasks, conducting assessments, engagement and followups with clients, managing data entry duties, and assisting with statistics and reporting requirements. Furthermore, the DFV Practitioner will receive training to serve as a backup cofacilitator, ensuring programme continuity and effective delivery of services. This position will be paid at a rate in accordance with SCHADS Level4. Qualifications Studying toward relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Human Services, Social Work, or psychology) and/or transferable skills in a similar role. Staff must hold a current drivers licence along with a valid Working with Children (Blue Card) and obtain a National Police Check prior to employment. Eligible to legally work in Australia and proof of eligibility may be required.
