About the role We are seeking a process engineer who is mechanically minded and enjoys a handson role. You will need to be well driven, enthusiastic, enjoy troubleshooting machinery issues and implementing solutions. This role is predominately afternoon shift with the expectation to cover morning shift if required. The key duties Operate, maintain and troubleshoot food processing and packaging machinery. Facilitate change overs and CIPs. Monitor quality parameters and implement corrective actions to prevent waste and defects. Assist in process improvement, product development and continuous improvement activities. Analyse production data and adhere to processing specifications to maintain food safety and quality. Participate in preventive maintenance activities. Adhere and contribute to GMPs and WHS, including housekeeping activities. About You Have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably in the food industry. Tertiary education in Chemical, Mechanical or Food Engineering. Desire to learn and grow with a continuous improvement mindset. Understanding of GMP, WHS and HACCP. Have experience working in fast paced team environments and communicate well within it.
