Key Responsibilities Lead the sites Health, Safety & Training function and provide expert advice across all operational areas. Develop, implement and monitor safety management systems, policies and procedures. Foster a strong safety culture through visible leadership, coaching and engagement with all stakeholders. Oversee incident investigations, risk assessments and audits to ensure continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and company standards. Collaborate with operational leaders to embed safety standards into daily practices and operational planning. Qualifications Formal qualifications in Work, Health & Safety or related discipline. Proven experience in a safety management role within mining or heavy industry. Strong knowledge of mining safety legislation, risk management & auditing processes. Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the workforce. A proven commitment to driving a proactive safetyfirst culture. Passion for coaching, mentoring and building leadership capability within the onsite safety team. Skills and Experience Formal qualifications in Work, Health & Safety or related discipline.
