This position blends customer service, social media management, and administrative support to maintain smooth office operations, foster strong donor relationships, and advance digital engagement. Success in the role requires exceptional organization, initiative, and discretion. REPORTS TO: Director of Finance DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible SALARY: $24.97 - $29.69 per hour QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree from an accredited College/University in a related field, or a combination of comparable skills and experience 13 years of relevant experience in social media, fundraising, events, or non-profit administration Public Relations, Digital Communications or related experience Advanced computer skills required including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Social Media, etc. Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong telephone skills required Confidence in public speaking Experience in writing grant proposals, fundraising letters Responsibilities Familiarity with creating website content and experience maintaining and establishing social media accounts such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), e-newsletters and other platforms using social media best practices Lead the organization in its strategy and implementation plan to support/enhance the current fundraising program, and expand opportunities and efforts to increase donation opportunities. Work with the Chief Executive Officer and members of the Board of Directors to determine quarterly priorities and action plans for cultivating existing donor relationships and pursuing new streams of funding. Track and evaluate results against stated objectives in the organizations Strategic Plan to assure that goals are met or exceeded each year. Supporting existing committees and establishing new in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of fundraising events and activities; this includes signature fundraising events, donor appreciation events, donor prospecting activities, and supporting third-party fundraising events, as needed. Identify and develop strategies for growing community presence, and community partnerships. Coordinating community relations activities, such as presentations, tours. Supporting development of campaigns such as monthly donor program, corporate matching, and annual giving. Processing donations, thank you correspondence and receipting using Donor Perfect Software. Researching grant opportunities, collaborate on funding requests and assists with tracking and recognition requirements. Creation of materials and presentation speaking notes to be used by individuals representing the organization. Document donor, resident, staff, volunteer, and caregiver stories, used in the development of campaigns & events. Provide support in the production of news releases, articles, and organizational key messaging. Develop communication materials such as brochures etc. ensuring consistency with brand design. Attend events to capture and promote through social media content. Work within a communications & marketing budget in consultation with the Director of Finance. Responsible for management of donor files and maintain records storage as per policy. Complete special assignments and projects as required. Plan yearly activities, education, events as part of the Staff Wellness Program.
