UNSW Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia Coop Industry Partnerships Manager UNSW seeks a Coop Industry Partnerships Manager to develop and sustain industry sponsor relationships and secure scholarship funding for the Coop Program in Business and Engineering. The role contributes to generating over $8million in annual scholarship and internship funding for undergraduate students. Why Your Role Matters The Coop Industry Partnerships Manager is responsible for creating the Coop Sponsor engagement strategy, securing sponsorship places, supporting sponsor and scholar industry experience placements, and communicating relevant feedback. This fixedterm contract (fulltime, 35 hours/week, until May2027) reports to the Head, Coop and works closely with senior Scholar Ambassadors. Summary of Key Responsibilities Develop and implement industry engagement strategies to grow the Coop Program in Business and Engineering Maintain and build relationships with industry sponsors, managing $8million in annual scholarship funding Collaborate with Faculties and Academic Coordinators to support scholar placements and manage student/sponsor issues Monitor and evaluate industry partnerships, providing reports on engagement and impact Manage sponsor agreements, ensuring compliance with UNSW policies Contribute to marketing strategies and professional development workshops Support the development of procedures and training materials for Coop Program initiatives Who You Are Demonstrated experience and success in developing and managing partnerships with community, government or industry organisations that generate mutual value. Experience enhancing university career development or industry graduate programmes. Ability to prioritise workloads in a complex multistakeholder environment, working independently and proactively while meeting deadlines. Skill in developing marketing collateral, brand strategy, and communications channels to achieve effective partner engagement. Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the capacity to build and maintain professional relationships with internal staff and external stakeholders. Demonstrated understanding of industry employment needs and trends for relevant program streams, including knowledge of graduate skills, capabilities and recruitment processes. Ability to contribute to the strategic development of the Coop Program and its Professional Development Programme. Advanced computer literacy and experience using a range of systems and applications.
