The Strand Yeppoon is seeking an entertainment-focused Venue Manager to lead our multifaceted venue, with a strong focus on live gigs and entertainment. If you''re passionate about the music scene and enjoy working in a lively, fast-paced venue, this role offers the chance to guide a dynamic team and shape the customer experience. We''re after someone who can deliver premium service, run activations, build strong relationships with DJs and promoters, enjoy footy and is committed to developing their team. You will oversee the daytoday operations of a large, multiuse venue, leading a dynamic team and driving the customer experience. Responsibilities Oversee daytoday operations of a large, multiuse venue. Lead and develop a strong management team. Deliver premium service and run activations. Build relationships with DJs and promoters. Ensure presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends. Write and control an effective roster. Analyse P&L to identify growth opportunities. Generate revenuebuilding ideas across all aspects of the business. Implement and execute promotions. Stocktake and investigate stock loss. Conduct market awareness and trend analysis in food and beverage. Qualifications 3+ years of venue management experience. Experience working in an entertainmentfocused venue. Proven experience in highcapacity venues. Strong team leadership skills. Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyse opportunities to grow your business. Ability to generate revenuebuilding ideas throughout all aspects of the business. Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends. Write and control an effective roster. Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss. Market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area. Ability to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully. RLMV, Approved Managers License, Gaming Nominee & CLO are a must.
