The Fortify Health Care Services team is supportive, approachable and clientcentred and also provides excellent staff training and development opportunities through our training academy. We provide care and support to participants with complex health needs, including mental health, challenging behaviours and highintensity support needs. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective nursing care, under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Adhere to positive behaviour support plans and implement documented strategies to best support positive outcomes for the participant. Assist with high intensity support needs: diabetes management and subcut injections. Deescalate and provide mental health support and manage & provide a safe & calm environment. Attend to personal cares, catheter flushes, medication administration and relevant highintensity support requirements. Support participants with daily supports including light domestic tasks, transport, meal preparation, companionship. Use encouragement and motivation to support participants to independence and other personal goals. Attend to medical emergencies & provide first aid as required. Complete required documentation, including shift notes, incident reports and data collections via inhouse support charts, and contribute to the development, modification & evaluation of Participant Care Plans. Approach complex situations with calm, compassion, and professionalismyour presence can be a powerful source of reassurance. Build strong rapport with participants and stakeholders. Work closely with your fellow team members to create a smooth, stable, and positive service environment as a team player. If a colleague needs help, lend a hand. Weve got each others backs. Have a positive cando attitude, with the ability to focus on a holistic approach to support, encompassing a wellbeing and clinical lens within your support framework. BENEFITS Above award wages Paid training and qualifications Work with the same participants regularly Clinical supervision and support TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions Relevant nursing qualifications for EN roles Previous skills with epilepsy/seizures & enteral feeding is highly advantageous Work a rotating roster with a willingness to work night duty (if required) including inactive and active sleepovers Lived or worked experience supporting participants with complex health, mental health and positive behaviour support plan implementation Excellent technological, communication and time management skills First Aid and CPR certificate Relevant compliance checks, including NDIS Worker Screening Check & Blue Card Drivers licence and own vehicle WHY JOIN US?At Fortify Health Group, we value our team members and the incredible work they do.
