Supported Employment Practice Leader - Warragul Social Enterprises Join Knoxbrooke in shaping meaningful employment pathways for people with diverse abilities across our West Gippsland social enterprises which include a garden maintenance service, two vibrant cafs, and our popular recycled goods store, Vintage Vibes. In the newly created role of Practice Leader, youll be the face of supported employment in West Gippsland. Youll provide personcentred, strengthsbased support to our supported employees, ensuring they thrive at work and have every opportunity to grow their skills, confidence, and independence. Youll work closely with Supervisors and the Employment Support team to make sure daytoday operations run smoothly, safely and with a genuine focus on quality supports. This is a parttime (0.6 FTE) role with flexibility on structure of hours in line with business requirements. Key Responsibilities Act as the key contact for supported employment enquiries, assist with recruitment/onboarding, and represent Knoxbrooke at expos and community events. Provide daytoday line management for supported employees, including timesheets, leave, payroll changes and family communication. Review daily production notes and coordinate with the Employment Support Team Leader to ensure timely coaching, training and responsive support. Provide behaviour or response support when required, and coach Supervisors and open staff in personcentred and positive behaviour support approaches. Support incident management, ensure appropriate reporting, and contribute to investigations relating to supported employees. Track and report on individual goals, maintain support profiles, and assist with annual wage assessments. Collate information for NDIS Plan Reviews and liaise with BSP practitioners, Allied Health, Support Coordinators and other professionals. Model bestpractice personcentred, Active Support and Positive Behaviour Support, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with Knoxbrooke policies, procedures, and the Knoxbrooke and NDIS Codes of Conduct. About you Youre someone who builds trust naturally, communicates with warmth and clarity, and thrives in a role where no two days are the same. You bring a flexible, collaborative style and understand how to balance operational needs with highquality support for individuals with diverse abilities. Experience in a leadership role within supported employment or disability employment services is the ideal experience for this role. Our preferred candidate holds qualifications in Community Services or similar. It is a requirement to have a Level2 First Aid Certificate (including CPR), or willingness to obtain one, NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one, a valid drivers licence and own transport to move between different worksites located in Warragul.
