Greater Hume Council is a large rural Council with a focus onresponsibility, growth and sustainability. About the Role Greater Hume Council is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide outstanding administrative support to the General Manager and when required, to the Mayor, Councillors and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This is a key role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates with confidence and consistently demonstrates excellent judgement and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs, manages competing priorities with ease and maintains strict confidentiality at all times. This position is based at Council''s Holbrook Office and while full-time is preferred, part-time applications will be considered. The remuneration will bealigned with the successful candidate''s skills and agreed hours of work. For afull-time arrangement, the salary ranges from $1,349.60 to $1,660.30 gross perweek, plus 12% Superannuation. Key Responsibilities Provide executive support to the General Manager, including diary management, correspondence and meeting coordination Attend and support monthly Council Meetings and Workshops Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across the organisation Prepare professional correspondence and documentation, including letters, emails, agendas, minutes, reports, presentations and briefing papers Coordinate communication between the General Manager, Councillors, staff and other stakeholders in a timely manner Provide support to Governance functions, including policy review and system administration Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. About You You will be a dynamic and personable professional who brings: Strong administrative experience, ideally supporting executive or senior leaders Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and sound judgement Ability to manage complex scheduling, priorities and deadlines A commitment to professionalism, confidentiality and customer service.
