About the Role We are seeking a qualified music therapist (grade 1 or 2) to join our Child and Youth Allied Health team. This is a casual position working across local kindergartens, delivering engaging and therapeutic music sessions funded through School Readiness Funding (SRF). The role focuses on building the capacity of kindergarten teachers to integrate musicbased strategies that support childrens wellbeing, communication and participation. Key Responsibilities Deliver music therapy sessions with occupational therapists and speech pathologists in kindergarten settings Collaborate with educators to embed music therapy practices into daily routines Provide coaching and resources to build teacher capacity Document and evaluate outcomes for children and educators Explore opportunities for expanding services through alternative funding models and roles About You Tertiary qualification in music therapy and current registration with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Experience working with children and families Strong communication and coaching skills Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments Current Working with Childrens Check What We Offer Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Opportunities to innovate and grow the service through new funding streams A supportive and valuesdriven workplace Why Join Us?
