At Respect Aged Care, were looking for a committed Food Services Cook to create a homely dining experience for our residents. Join our supportive hospitality team at Wattleglen in Sale, VIC, and play an important role in the lives of those in our care. Alongside our residential homes, we provide home care services in multiple states and manage inclusive retirement villages and independent living communities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality meals and beverages that cater to residents dietary and nutritional needs. Work closely with residents, dietitians, Registered Nurses, and the General Manager to contribute to menu planning. Monitor stock levels and communicating supply needs to the Chef Supervisor. Maintain food safety standards by effective implementation of the Food Safety Program (FSP). Foster a clean, safe, and wellorganised kitchen environment to work efficiently and confidently. Order supplies to align with menu plans and budget requirements. Independently plan and manage your workload with professionalism and care. Assist with other relevant duties within your skillset, as directed by the organisation Essential Requirements A Trade Cook Certificate or equivalent qualification. Food Handling Course and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Proven experience working in hospitality. Experience in aged care cooking. Current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one. Intermediate computer skills. Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements. Highly Desirable Leadership experience in a kitchen or food services setting. Food Services Supervisor accreditation.
