Collaborate on menu development and seasonal offerings. Oversee section operations to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency. Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and manage wastage. Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health and safety requirements. Train, supervise and support junior kitchen staff. Contribute to cost control, portion management and kitchen workflows. Chef Skills & Experience Required Minimum two years of relevant chef experience. Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery preferred. Proven experience in a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen environment. Strong understanding of seasonal produce and contemporary cooking techniques. Ability to work a flexible roster including nights and weekends. Key Cook Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items under the direction of the Chef team. Follow standard recipes, portion controls and preparation lists. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations. Assist with food preparation plate and service Adhere to food safety regulations and safe kitchen practices. Support smooth service and collaborate with the wider kitchen team. Cook Skills & Experience Required At least one to two years of experience in a commercial kitchen. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is desirable but not essential. Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently and maintain consistency.
