The Factory Operator/General Hand will work across a variety of business units in the Sell and Parker Group with your primary focus being on the Powder Coating line. This role will be required to operate all facets of the powder coating line including hanging, cleaning and manual labour. The role will be responsible for the quality of the parts being produced and the output of day-to-day production. ABOUT YOU Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, heavy fastpaced environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently with a cando attitude. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities. Must have Forklift licence Experience in the safe use of hand, power and air tools Experience with manual handling and general hand tasks. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure compliance of company safety standards and practises. Ensure regular hazard assessment activities, prestarts and participation in hazards identification programs. Maintain and improve housekeeping in the work area. Prepare surfaces for painting and powder coating by sanding, cleaning, masking, and applying primers as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations. Operate powder coating equipment to hang, clean, and coat parts. Maintain a fastpaced workflow while ensuring highquality standards. Use of Forklift and potentially other mobile plant ABOUT US Precision Oxycut is a division of Sell & Parker (an Australian owned private company) and has been offering steel plate profiling and processing services since 1970.
