Working onsite at our Virtual Care Centre located in Eastwood (SouthAustralia) on a full time or part time fixed term basis. Contribute to virtual health initiatives by : Exercising your experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions. Combination of virtual and inperson face to face care as part of an interprofessional team. Managing acute presentations in the community of conditions, such as but not limited to, cellulitis, community acquired pneumonia; exacerbation COPD, VTE and complicated UTI. Collaborate with a broad multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient centred care Access to professional development and mentoring. About you We are looking for Consultants in Emergency Medicine / Physicians / GPs that : Have full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with at least 5 years experience as medical registrar, General Practitioner and / or with a specialty interest. Can apply theoretical knowledge and practical experience to determine the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations, and treatment of patients with acute conditions, in line with clinical risk and compliance frameworks. Have confidence in providing virtual care; confidence in reviewing biometric data trends to assist with early identification of deterioration will be highly regarded. Demonstrate excellent communication skills. Have a high level of professionalism, with the ability to relate well with people of all interests, background and abilities and a commitment to delivering exemplary care to our patients. Hold a South Australian Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or are willing and eligible to obtain). #J-18808-Ljbffr
