General Manager The Sebel Parramatta (PreOpening) Accor Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Company Description The Sebel Parramatta is a sophisticated 51room hotel featuring studio rooms, onebedroom apartments, a Ground Floor Caf, Boardroom and a Rooftop Terrace Function space. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Parramatta Sydneys second central business district the hotel aims to provide stylish and comfortable accommodation for business and leisure travellers while delivering outstanding food & beverage experiences. Job Description Lead all aspects of the preopening process, from strategic planning and team recruitment to operational setup and market positioning, ensuring a successful launch. Manage and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including owners, guests, the local community and suppliers. Build, lead, inspire and mentor a small, driven team from inception, fostering growth, collaboration and overall business success. Oversee all Food & Beverage operations, maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional experiences for conference and event sales, particularly within the Rooftop Terrace Bar and Boardroom. Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, streamline operational efficiencies and continuously enhance the guest journey. Drive innovative sales and marketing strategies to boost occupancy, increase average daily rate and grow revenue for the new property. Champion employee engagement by fostering a collaborative, inclusive and supportive workplace culture. Support all departments in achieving operational targets while consistently delivering memorable guest experiences. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of senior leadership experience in hotels, with a focus on operational excellence and commercial success, prior preopening experience highly regarded. Proven financial and business acumen, including robust experience in revenue management, budgeting, forecasting and driving profitability across Rooms and Food & Beverage outlets. Exceptional communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and inspire teams. Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial flair, strong personal integrity and commitment to Accors core values. A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce or business administration is highly valued.
