The position holder will:Work with the Executive Dean, National Heads of School and Institute and Centre Directors to set strategic faculty research directions, including planning and implementing strategies to ensure research targets are met and a research-focused culture is nurtured amongst academic staff,Maintain their own research program in a relevant Faculty discipline, andDevelop a cohesive strategy and activities to attract high quality higher degree by research students and ensure timely completions, and to nurture the development of strategic partnerships with international partners and other key external stakeholders.For full position details about the Associate Dean (Research), refer to the position description.The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.Total remuneration valued to $202,272 - $222,654 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $171,352 - $188,772 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D); or; Total remuneration valued to $260,037 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component of $220,723 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level E), plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks'' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.As an ACU staff member, you will have access to generous benefits which include but not limited to: flexible work,study leave, a variety of leave provisions and salary packaging.
