Lead meaningful transformation in a respected, profitable Australian business and swap long commutes for coastal mornings, crowded boardrooms for clear thinking, and burnout for balance and wellbeing.What youll doReporting to the Chief Executive Officer and partnering closely with the rest of the ELT, youll lead a capable internal team of nine across software, data and infrastructure, driving transformation that improves performance, scalability and competitive advantage.Your role is to turn technology into a strategic asset: a platform that accelerates growth, reduces risk and enhances the experience for advisers, clients and employees.Youll:Deliver a multi-year technology and architecture roadmap aligned to growth, compliance and customer outcomes.Strengthen platform reliability, scalability and cyber resilience to ensure performance, security and trust.Embed DevOps, CI/CD and disciplined engineering to improve delivery speed and quality.Build capability within the team, mentoring emerging leaders and creating structure, rhythm and accountability.Simplify data and reporting to drive faster, smarter insights.Partner with executives, advisers and the board to align investment, risk and returns on technology.This is not a rebuild: its an opportunity to improve ROI, strengthen resilience and create a secure, scalable platform that drives growth, efficiency and exceptional experience across the Infocus network.Who youll do it forInfocus is a privately owned Australian financial services group that integrates financial advice, technology and investment management to help Australians make confident financial decisions.Headquartered on the Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore), Infocus has grown over 30 years into a national network supporting thousands of advisers and clients. Youll have the backing of the CEO, the board and a highcalibre executive team who are aligned, pragmatic and ready to modernise.What youll needYoure an experienced technology leader who combines strategic foresight with handson capability. You bring the maturity to operate confidently at board and executive level, and the pragmatism to lead a compact, capable team through a period of structured uplift and renewal.Youll have:Proven experience leading endtoend technology strategy and execution within a complex, regulated or financial services or FinTech environment.Experience leading multidisciplinary technology teams across software development, infrastructure and data.Demonstrated success modernising legacy platforms and embedding disciplined engineering, governance and delivery frameworks.Deep understanding of cybersecurity, risk management and regulatory compliance (ASIC, AUSTRAC, ISO 27001).Credibility and confidence engaging with boards, auditors and external technology partners.Whats on offerA senior executive appointment with full leadership visibility, board exposure and the mandate to shape Infocus technology future.
