This senior leadership opportunity combines executive medical oversight with operational performance leadership across a progressive Queensland health service. About the Role The Director of Medical Services will be the most senior medical leader at Robina Hospital, providing daytoday strategic oversight and operational leadership for the medical workforce. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, patientcentred care aligned with the organisations strategic priorities. In this role you will collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer and report operationally to the General Manager. Key responsibilities include: Leading sitebased initiatives in medical workforce planning, quality and safety, clinical governance, research partnerships, and emergency response readiness. Serving as a key escalation point for crossdivisional access and flow issues. Championing innovation, safety, and cultural capability across medical services. Candidate Profile We are seeking a senior medical leader with: Medical degree registrable with AHPRA and specialist registration. Executivelevel experience in clinical leadership within large, complex health systems. Expertise in operational performance, workforce planning, patient safety, and system reform. A collaborative, inclusive leadership style grounded in values and integrity. Fellowship of RACMA (or substantial progress toward it) desirable. You will be a trusted leader who thrives in fastpaced environments, balances clinical insight with operational agility, and is passionate about advancing equitable, worldclass care.
