They are backed by one of the largest insurance companies in the world. They have expanded into the Australian market and are a market leader, with big box retailers their primary customers. The business has plans to further their influence globally. Currently, the business is looking to recruit a Senior Manager, Business Development. This is a businesscritical role that will have high impact. Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth, this is a senior, revenue driving role focused on business development and strategic account growth. This role will manage business development, new partner acquisition, commercial negotiations, and longterm strategic growth initiatives across key verticals. Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure new highvalue partners across retail, telco, financial services and fintech sectors. Oversee the development of new products in new and existing clients, ensuring smooth delivery and execution. Explore new / greenfield sectors and verticals to accelerate growth in the Australian market. Lead complex commercial negotiations with Clevel stakeholders, creating winwin partnerships that drive longterm revenue. Understand and help to finesse the internal processes and systems that are involved in the business development and strategic account growth. Take on strategic, crossfunctional projects that deliver value for multiple accounts and teams across the business. Key Skills and Experience 10+ years of relevant experience, with significant seniorlevel exposure in partnerships, business development, or strategic sales. Industry experience in insurance, warranty, or fintech. Proven success in winning, negotiating, and growing large enterprise or retail accounts. Strong commercial acumen, including previous experience with commercial pricing. Strong presence and credibility with Csuite executives, able to influence, negotiate, and close. Experienced at switching between strategy and execution, comfortable driving highlevel vision while rolling up your sleeves to deliver outcomes and understand detail.
