Senior Proposal Design Engineer Matrix Composites & Engineering proudly owns Australias largest composite manufacturing facility in Henderson, WA, where we specialise in the design, engineering, and manufacture of composite and advanced material technology solutions to industries including Oil & Gas, Mining & Defence. Matrix is seeking a highly experienced Senior Proposal Design Engineer to work closely with our General Manager of Technology on compilation and submission of technical drawings for proposals created from leads generated by Sales and Product Line Managers. Responsibilities Review client RFQs and provide expert analysis and interpretation client requirements. Determine clients documentation, quality, safety, environmental, and engineering deliverables pre and post award and provide insights additional insights where applicable. Collate and respond to RFQ Technical Clarifications with assistance from relevant parties within Matrix including the CEO and GM Technology. Identify technical proposal risks and develop solutions to control or mitigate risks. Review scope of supply and liaise with Engineering and Product Line Managers to compile suitable costeffective solutions. Prepare technical proposal drawings to be included in bid submissions. Assist with detailed cost estimates in a timely and costeffective manner in line with company Profit Margin and Costing Policy. Support the General Manager of Technology and CEO with various project and client requirements for the full lifecycle of our projects. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Demonstrated extensive and current experience in Solidworks. Proven experience working with and interpreting working engineering drawings and data to extract information for complex. Internal and external stakeholder engagement skills in fast paced and agile environments. Proven experience in managing projects within demanding timeframes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
