The position works closely with the Medical Administration Manager, Director of Medical Services, Director of Prevocational Training and medical staff. You will join four existing staff in the Medical Administration Unit. The team are very collegiate and supportive; onjob orientation and training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support a key medical workforce, providing an incredibly rewarding work experience. The position focuses on supporting Medical Officers in Orange Health Service. This includes opportunities to develop rostering skills, Healthroster data entry, support Junior Medical Officer wellbeing, proactively address staffing issues, attend and minute meetings, and assist with department accreditations and education programs. The Medical Workforce Officer will be a key point of contact within the Medical Workforce Unit at Orange Health Service, and is able to work under limited direction and guidance with regard to work priorities in a fastpaced environment, while maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
