Job PurposeRental Car Manager (RCM) is part of the Jonas Software Group of Companies that acquires, manages, and builds industry-specific software companies globally. With over 100+ acquired companies and 2,500+ employees globally, we have long realized that our greatest asset is our employee base.General ManagerWe are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the Rental Car Manager organisation. You will work alongside the Group Manager to plan, direct, and manage the performance of the company as dictated by the overall strategy to maintain and drive business growth.You will ensure that company goals are met in a timely fashion by efficiently and effectively managing personnel and resources and working closely with our established and knowledgeable teams. The post requires strong multi-tasking, organisational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive commercial growth, including the strategic and operational requirements of the business.Develop and deliver a product strategy against a published roadmap.Continue initiatives to create a welltrained, motivated, and empowered workforce as well as an experienced management team that delivers excellent results.Lead and develop our people managers to ensure their team members are motivated and deliver highquality consistent outcomes aligned to RCM''s strategy.Build relationships with industry partners and alliances.Implement risk management policies to address strategic, operational, and legislative compliance risks.Ensure company directives are executed successfully, and company policies and procedures are adhered to and are in line with current legislation and regulations.Undertake financial and resource planning for all aspects of the business and ensure the business is financially sound, well managed, and achieves key targets.In consultation with HR, work with, support, manage and implement the development of HR related matters such as company policies and procedures, KPIs for performance, succession planning, talent management, development, recruitment, retention strategies, compensation reviews, etc.Skills, Knowledge and Experience NeededA degree in Business or Information Technology (desirable).Senior Management experience, leading a small business or multiple teams, within the software industry with a proven track record of business growth.Proven track record of setting business strategy and delivering on it.Proven track record of coordinating a range of business functions across different teams and creating strong team cultures and developing teams.Experience of managing multiple conflicting priorities to meet strategic deadlines.Strong understanding of financial management.Extensive experience building and maintaining longlasting relationships with key stakeholders, partners and customers.Proven ability to resolve highlevel, complex issues in a diplomatic and professional manner.Sound knowledge of statutory, legal, and contractual obligations.Our Culture and PerksOur parent company, Jonas Software, is an operating group of Constellation Software, Inc.
