In this role, you will deliver contemporary, comprehensive Gastroenterology services that support safe, effective, and patient-centred care. You will also play a key part in supervising clinicians, contributing to service development, and supporting high standards of clinical education across the District. What Youll Be Doing Provide highquality, evidencebased Gastroenterology and Hepatology services across MLHD. Undertake the supervision, education, and mentoring of junior medical staff and other clinicians. Participate in the General Medicine oncall roster at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. Contribute to clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement programs. Provide expert clinical advice to support service development and system improvement. Utilise information systems to support safe and informed clinical decisionmaking. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patientcentred care. Attend departmental meetings and support medical administration as required. What Were Looking For Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, including FRACP. Highlevel clinical communication skills, including the effective use of information technology. Extensive experience and demonstrated competency in contemporary specialist Gastroenterology practice. Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and provide appropriate clinical leadership. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement. Availability to participate in the General Medicine oncall roster, with onsite response within a reasonable timeframe. Commitment to NSW Health CORE Values and the values and strategic goals of MLHD.
