About The Role Student Support Services provides high quality and culturally responsive services in partnership with schools and preschools to assist them in meeting the needs of all children. The Flexible Services Response Team, as part of Student Support Services, is committed to providing a range of flexible service delivery approaches inclusive of FIFO, Tele Practice, External Provider Program and crossoffice support. This role is responsible for psychology assessment and intervention services to students and children using a hybrid approach of FIFO and remote technology as a mode of delivery. Telepractice provides accessibility to children and students who may have limited access to inperson services due to geographical, physical or other barriers. The psychologist, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, will work closely with the senior psychologist to deliver evidencebased interventions to children with developmental, cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural and physical difficulties, and exceptional needs (including giftedness) and their families within this telepractice mode of delivery. The psychologist works under the professional support and directions of the senior psychologist. Student Support Services are on a cultural response journey, as such we value and prioritise Aboriginal ways of knowing, doing and being. Qualifications Essential: Current and full registration (general) with the Psychology Board of Australia Desirable: Nil Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHANEC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. Remuneration AHP2 $91,785 $106,330 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) + leave loading and applicable allowances.
