Join to apply for the NMHS Clinical Nurse Pool role at North Metropolitan Health Service. We are looking for dedicated Clinical Nurses who will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide direct nursing care and clinical support to women who attend BreastScreen WA. This is a recruitment pool that will be open for permanent fulltime, parttime, fixedterm, and casual appointments until 27 December. First Round of assessments will be held Friday 13 June. To be considered in this round, please submit your application by 13 June. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and clinical support to women attending BreastScreen WA. Facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care through clinical leadership and advanced professional expertise. Coordinate referrals for women with abnormal screening results and organise appointment bookings for BreastScreen WA assessment centres. Assist the multidisciplinary assessment clinical team and Breast Physician in giving results to clients, providing emotional support and education as required. Coordinate patient flow at assessment centres. Qualifications & Requirements Australian citizenship or permanent residency (essential for public sector permanent positions). For fixedterm appointments, documentation of entitlement to live and work in Australia is required. Qualified as a registered nurse. Previous experience in breast screening or similar clinical settings is desirable. Strong commitment to NMHS core values: Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Integrity.
