Access salary packaging to increase takehome payParttime (53.2 hours per fortnight), permanent roleBased in Ballarat Your new role As the Homelessness Networker, you will play an integral role to the Local Area Support Network (LASN) for DFFH funded homelessness support agencies in the regions, the Central Highlands Homelessness Alliance & the Wimmera Homelessness Alliance (CHHA/WHA). In this role, you will support the common agenda by maintaining a deep understanding of the homelessness system and the broader policy environment. You will provide highlevel advice, advocacy and system integration for the CHHA and WHA, bringing together homelessness services and supporting the network across both regions. Your skills and experience Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Community Development or related discipline. Excellent communication and advocacy skills with the ability to translate complex needs, elevate systemic issues, and work creatively to address barriers impacting people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Demonstrated experience working in and/or around the Housing and Homelessness Sector. Experience in developing strategic plans, operational objectives and executive level secretarial support. Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably in the notforprofit and/or government sectors. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Strong understanding of the homelessness and housing support system, with the capability to coordinate responses across multiple agencies. View the position description here.
