In 2025 the school expects an enrolment of 24 students and will be organised into two grades. The school has both full time and part time teachers and qualified Education Support Staff to support student learning. Small class sizes are a priority to support learning. Role The classroom teacher classification has two salary ranges range1 and range2. The primary focus is on planning, preparing and teaching programs to achieve specific student outcomes. Teachers may also undertake additional duties appropriate to their salary range, qualifications, training and experience. Classroom Teacher Range2 Range2 teachers assist the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes, contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities, and mentor other teachers. They are expected to: Have content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet diverse needs. Model exemplary classroom practice and coach other teachers. Provide expert advice on content, processes and strategies. Supervise and train one or more student teachers. Help staff use student data to inform teaching approaches. Classroom Teacher Range1 Range1 teachers further develop skills to become effective practitioners, with structured support and guidance. Responsibilities include classroom management, subject content, teaching practice and participating in policy development and project teams. Responsibilities Direct teaching of student groups and individuals. Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum areas. Undertake classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the Principal. Participate in parentteacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions. Undertake other nonteaching supervisory duties.
