Greyhound Racing SA Limited (GRSA) is the controlling body of greyhound racing in South Australia, conducting, regulating, and promoting the sport from our headquarters at Angle Park. GRSAs primary responsibilities are to ensure the welfare of the industrys greyhounds and the responsible and ethical regulation of approximately 700 licensed industry participants and race meeting activities at its five racetracks Angle Park, Gawler, Murray Bridge, Mount Gambier and Virginia through the effective enforcement of local and national rules and compliance policies. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Intelligence and Betting Analyst with a background in law enforcement, regulatory intelligence, or a comparable integrity-focused environment to join our Integrity & Welfare team. This role plays a critical part in GRSAs intelligence-led approach to safeguarding the fairness and transparency of greyhound racing in South Australia. You will collect, interpret, and synthesize information from multiple sources including human sourced data, misconduct and welfare complaints, compliance information and external intelligence patterns to produce high-quality, actionable intelligence products that directly support investigations, compliance activities, and strategic integrity objectives. This is not a business or commercial data analyst role; it requires experience in operational or strategic intelligence with a regulatory, policing, government, or integrity-focused organisation. Key Responsibilities Analyse racing and wagering activity to identify trends, unusual patterns, anomalies, emerging risks and potential integrity breaches. Collect, evaluate and verify quantitative and qualitative industry information to guide intelligence led investigations and surveillance. Produce high-quality intelligence products, including dashboards, reports, and briefings that inform operational actions. Conduct environmental scanning to identify emerging threats, behaviours, or trends impacting industry integrity. Support investigations and operational responses by providing timely, actionable intelligence insights. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal teams and external stakeholders including law enforcement bodies, regulators, wagering partners, other racing jurisdictions, industry participants and the RSPCA. About You Experience as an intelligence analyst with a law enforcement agency, regulator, or integrity-focused organisation (essential). Strong analytical and numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail. Demonstrated capability applying all-source intelligence principles in investigative or regulatory contexts. Proven ability to produce intelligence reports that inform operational and strategic decisions. Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytical tools (e.g., Analyst Notebook or equivalent). Knowledge and experience in financial intelligence or analysis of financial behaviours. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior stakeholders. Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships. Relevant tertiary qualification in criminology, intelligence, investigations, or recognised equivalent experience. A current (or recent) National Police Clearance. An interest in racing integrity and animal welfare (highly regarded). Why Join Us?
