You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members to ensure excellence in personalised care. You will work with a supportive Clinical Manager to promote a culture of service delivery that enhances residents lifestyle experiences. You will mentor and guide the team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled nurses, Personal Carers, Lifestyle Officers and Allied Health staff. Compassion and empathy will accompany your clinical talent, built on dignity and respect for residents.What you will bringCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years'' experience in Aged CareDemonstrated competence in modern nursing care including medication management, clinical governance and assessment, and relevant documentationStrong leadership, communication and people management skillsUnderstanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines in the Aged Care environment, Accreditation and Continuous Quality ImprovementStrong working knowledge of care minutesProven track record in understanding and meeting accreditation requirementsAbility to be accountable for clinical care provisionsProactive and energetic time managementApproachable and confident communication styleDesirable: high level skills in wound management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative careAbout Southern Cross Care QueenslandSouthern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation with a long-standing commitment to compassionate care and inclusive service for the ageing population.
