About the Role The Operations Manager has key leadership and oversight responsibilities for the units operational personnel, who report directly to this position. The Operations Manager plays a vital role to the Senior Manager and is critical to the effective delivery of operational activities and projects across the departments infrastructure assets. The role will provide oversight, guidance and technical advice across the unit and will represent the Asset and Facility Services team through liaison and collaboration with site leaders, education directors and senior management and external stakeholders, as well as providing specialist operational oversight to the departments initiatives, programs and minor works projects. Qualifications Essential: Nil Desirable: Relevant appropriate tertiary qualification or extensive knowledge and experience in facilities and asset management/maintenance fields. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a DHS working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed and renew it every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHANEC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which needs to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration ASO7 $108,109 - $116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
