Gain full access to nominated gyms, pools, health and leisure centres across NSW & ACT Discounted private health insurance Wellbeing initiatives such as Reward and Recognition Program, Employee Assistance Program Ongoing Training and Development Linkedin Training - SCC''s Senior Leaders and Support Office teamscan access adigital library of over 6000courses Referral Bonus Program The Role As a Care Service Employee, you will: Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the residents comfort Assist in mealtimes and social activities. #LI-DNI Minimum requirements - Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement. Experience in similar role in aged care A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity Flexible to do AM/PM and night shifts About Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) At SCC (NSW & ACT), people are at the heart of everything we do!
