The role will require you to:Ensure compliance with the requirements of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and Mines Safety Inspection RegulationsProvide direct supervision of employees and subcontractors working within the area of responsibility and allocating daytoday work prioritiesFocus on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader, engaging, developing and coaching your teamManage workloads and allocating duties across the production team to deliver the plan and ensure all development targets are achievedPromote continuous improvement by challenging work practices and encouraging employee participation in new conceptsSkills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have the ability to lead positive change and support the continual development of a high performing production team. They must demonstrate a commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards, mine working procedures and ensure a safe and environmentally healthy workplace.
