Are you an experienced Registered Nurse Grade 2 with a passion for Aged Care? Key Responsibilities Ensure resident care services delivery is based on the current needs, goals and preferences of the residents asidentified in partnership with the resident. Provide person centred care within scope of practice to residents with complex clinical needs with particular regard to wound management, diabetic management, behavioural management, medication management, nutrition and hydration management, pressure care management and incontinence management. Ensure medications are administered, documented, stored and disposed of in accordance with regulations andpolicies. Ensure assessment and planning, including consideration of risks to resident health and well-being. Ensure interactions with residents/participant and their representatives are kind, caring and respectful of eachindividual''s identity, culture and diversity. What you will bring A passion for and experience in providing clinical care, preferably in Aged Care A positive attitude and dedication to resident care and support Current Australia Professional Health Regulatory Authority (AHPRA registration) Understanding of the Aged Care Standards and a willingness to embrace and champion them, ensuring resident dignity and choice is central to all that they do A passion for providing a quality, relationship-based service Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of aged care standards, guidelines and relevant legislation Knowledge of OH&S and infection control specific to resident care The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a clinical team Effective and positive communication skills Excellent time management About Us Doutta Galla Aged Services is a not-for-profit aged care organisation with over 30 years experience caring for people from all backgrounds.Diversity and inclusion arent just words they shape the everyday experience for our residents and staff.
