We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager to join our company, now established for over 85 years. About the Role As Workshop Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end workflow of our busy workshop, ensuring that repairs are completed on schedule and to the highest standards. You will be the driving force behind team coordination, customer communication, and production efficiency. You will work closely with our manager, supporting a team of skilled panel beaters, spray painters, and apprentices, while acting as a key liaison between customers, insurers, and the workshop floor. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daytoday workshop operations Coordinate job flow and ensure workshop productivity Supervise, support, and delegate tasks to panel beaters, painters, and apprentices Monitor job progress and completion deadlines Ensure repair quality meets insurance and manufacturer standards Communicate clearly with customers and insurance companies regarding job status and delays What You Will Need An interest in the motor vehicle industry Experience in a supervisory or management role Ideally an understanding of a production environment Proven leadership and people management skills High attention to detail with strong problemsolving ability Excellent time management, organisational, and customer service skills What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Supportive ownership and strong team culture Career progression in a stable, full-time position How to Apply To apply, ideally please present in person with your resume.
