THE ROLE Step into the heart of film and television production, working alongside the Head of Business Affairs and Legal and senior executives on projects spanning Australia, USA, and beyond. Youll be part of a dynamic team that shapes programs from the earliest stages of development through production, post-production, delivery, marketing, and broadcast. Your day to day role will include drafting advice and supporting decision making across the full spectrum of transactional legal matters that bring productions to life. Were looking for a Lawyer with around 2+ years PQE who thrives in fast-paced environments and is ready to take the next big step in their career. ABOUT YOU industry knowledge in areas such as chain of title documents, production financing, talent engagement and production clearances demonstrated expertise in reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts a comprehensive foundation in contract and intellectual property law, with experience in defamation, employment law and insurance looked upon favourably a working knowledge ofemployment law, data protection, and editorial compliance strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the business the capability to manage competing priorities and resolving internal escalations effectively a commercial mind and can provide practical solutions focused legal support a comfortable working to tight deadlines and thriving under pressure excellent time management and organisational skills a proactive, selfmotivated mindset, and eager to take ownership of responsibilities Admission as a solicitor in one or more States in Australia, with 2+ years postqualification experience in commercial law and intellectual property, ideally working in-house within a film or television production company, broadcaster or specialist legal practice MORE INFORMATION If you would like to know more about Fremantle or the role please visit: or contact Amy Huynh, HR Manager on [email protected].
