Join to apply for the Administrative Assistant, Disputes role at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join the Melbourne office on a 12-month maximum term contract.As part of our market leading Disputes practice, this role will suit a confident individual who mirrors the driven, and energetic stakeholders they support. You will work closely with various Legal Assistants and be supported to learn and develop within a global, top-tier legal environment.Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:15 pm.ResponsibilitiesDelivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all workAssisting the support team with matter management, time recording and monthly invoicingSupporting the team in business development activities, including assistance with organising and managing client and team eventsScanning, printing, or photocopying relevant documents as and when required by the relevant practice group support colleague or LawyerProviding ad-hoc support to the practice group such as dealing with incoming mail, expense management, booking meeting rooms, amending documents and any other administrative dutiesQualificationsPrevious experience in a professional setting, ideally with quality exposure to administration tasksSound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)A can-do-attitude and passion for working collaborativelyStrong time management and organisational skills with proven ability to prioritise your time across several busy tasksGood written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholdersWe are not currently considering university students for this role.What you can expect from usWe''re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
