Your onboarding will include retail training and store procedures, as well as in-depth training of our Pet Academy classes and operations.You must be reliable, determined to meet high standards, flexible regarding working days and hours, and able to work unsupervised. Weekend work is required.You must be willing to deliver dog training content as provided to remain within our animal welfare and ethics guidelines, and undertake regular paid training sessions with senior Trainers to refresh and improve your skills.As part of your responsibilities, you must be physically fit and capable to handle dogs of all sizes as reasonably expected of the role. You may be required to restrain dogs up to and including large breeds. In your training role you may work with other species in the future (e.g., cat and aquatic classes).You may be required to lift heavy items up to 20 kg (e.g., bags of dog food).We are looking for people who want to grow with the business and who are determined to work with a team to achieve results.
