Northern Territories Resources Batchelor NT Responsibilities Operate the Water Treatment Plant, including use of reagents. Daily monitoring record water treatment data, rainfall, bund and river levels. Perform vehicle and mobile equipment prestart checks. Assist the mechanic with mechanical work and fitting when required. Assist contracted technicians on site (e.g., electricians, diesel fitters). Use IT Loader and Backhoe (experience/licenses desirable). Maintain site security, including fence line checks. Perform basic maintenance and repairs. Operate control room. Assist the local fire brigade with hazard reduction burns around the site. Assist with maintenance of fire breaks and road/drain maintenance. Check and maintain TSF Airwell recovery pumps as instructed. Remove rubbish around the site. Collect water samples for analysis and record data. Learn how to calibrate water monitoring probes and equipment. Identify and manage weeds, including use of poisons and weed spraying. Use a computer competently (email, saving files, internet, communications). Use provided safety equipment as instructed. Conduct Job Safety Analysis and Job Hazard Analysis for tasks undertaken. Report all issues on Daily Shift reports as directed. Perform other duties as instructed. Requirements Hold a C class licence and have own transport. Ability to work a shift roster that includes day and night shift, public holidays (4 days on, 4 off, 4 on 3 off, 4 on 3 off). Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Computer skills (email, update Excel and print work files). Excellent understanding of personal safety responsibilities and obligations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
