The Carrington Hotel, in the heart of the Atherton tablelands. Recently completed an extensive renovation in 2020 and has more renovations due in the near future. To oversee all operations and day-to-day activities in a hotel organization and take on a variety of duties including managing everything from accounting, sales, business development, and customer service. Overseeing personnel, including receptionists, kitchen staff, and office employees. Monitoring employee performance and conducting regular evaluations to help improve customer service. Collecting payments and maintaining records of budgets, funds, and expenses. Resolving issues regarding hotel services, amenities, and policies. Organizing activities and assigning responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity. Creating and applying a marketing strategy to promote the hotels services and amenities. Coordinating with external parties, including suppliers. Evaluating hotel performance and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules. Partaking in financial activities, including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments. Must have RSA / RSG / RMLU Must have approved Venue Managers license & Gaming Nominee license. Must have sound knowledge of Gaming and TAB policies & procedures. A minimum of 3 years experience in hotel management or a similar role. Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software. Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills. Exceptional leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
