About the role A great opportunity has arisen at our Maitland (Rutherford) Trade Centre Mitre10 business for a fulltime, experienced Customer Service / Trade Desk Sales person. This position is storebased and works within our Trade team. You will have previous sales experience using a P.O.S and experience with cash handling. Your ability to build strong relationships with customers in the residential building industry will see you succeed in this dynamic role, having a passion for outstanding customer service. This role also incorporates kitchen design and sales as well as ordering and merchandising of hardware. What you will be doing Being safe safety is part of our everyday culture Deliver excellent customer service through counter sales, quotes and delivery orders Goods inwards procedures Stock replenishment, adhering to store retail standards Picking and packing orders Designing and selling of kitchens (full training will be provided) What you will bring Ability to clearly communicate to customers via phone and email Ability to multitask in a dynamic fastpaced trade business An understanding of the timber & hardware market with previous experience desirable but not essential Ability to work closely in a diverse team About Us For over 50years, Mitre10 has been the local independent hardware store to thousands of Australians.
