Maintenance Fitter - AM Shift | Cleveland, QLD Full-time | $50/hr | Comgroup Supplies Comgroup Supplies is Australia''s most diverse and experienced food manufacturing organisation. We are a fastpaced, proactive company delivering innovative, highquality meat products to our customers nationally and internationally. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our ever-growing maintenance team, located at our Cleveland site. AM shifts Monday to Friday + some Saturday O/T (as required) Support the production operations through proactive/reactive maintenance. Fabrication and repair of food processing equipment/machinery. Minimise downtime of production through effective maintenance. Support current and upcoming projects/upgrade processes. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage and equipment guarding. Regular reporting to the site Maintenance Manager. Qualifications Certificate 3 - Mechanical Engineering. Metal fabrication skills and experience (machining/ TIG welding). Experience working within a production/food manufacturing environment - advantageous. Knowledge of production machinery to be able to tend to breakdowns or other assigned tasks. Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment. Selfmotivated and a fast learner. LF Forklift Licence desirable, but not mandatory. Permanent employment Fulltime hours.
