Knowledge of Australian curriculum and NESA requirements. Experience in assessing and reporting on student learning, using a variety of tools and strategies. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive, supportive learning environment. Competence in using technology and digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Participation in cocurricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events. Ability to work professionally in a collaborative team environment and develop strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. Develop a culture of improvement in teaching and learning by placing student learning at the centre of planning. Implement effective learning and assessment frameworks that use data and benchmarks to drive best practice. Work collegially with the Head of Faculty, Executive and other key staff in implementing the schools goals within the team. Ensure student results, assessment tasks and work samples are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion. Experience teaching PDHPE lessons including up to Stage 6. The ability to teach CrossFit, Stage 5 PASS, Stage 6 CAFS, Health and Movement Science and/or SLR. Bachelors degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification). Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Approval and experience to teach Secondary PDHPE. NSW Working with Children Check.
