About the Role Working in an agile environment, the Solutions Architect is a member of the Technology team applying solution design skills, strong technical knowledge, bestpractice design and code quality disciplines, and excellent interpersonal skills in the development of software solutions. In partnership with the technical leadership team, you will make a significant contribution to the setting of the technical direction of all aspects of our technology space. Technical leadership & Strategy Define the Technical Roadmap in collaboration with the Enterprise Architect and peer Solutions Architects Work closely with Product Leadership to define the product roadmap and provide essential technical direction Champion Architecture Quality, reducing technical debt and protecting systems from new complexity Research and recommend the implementation of innovative technologies Define design standards and patterns for developers to ensure consistency and quality Advise and mentor technology team members on architectural matters Architecture & Delivery Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions Create detailed design documentation, including diagrams, data models, and integration specifications Ensure adherence to privacy, security, reliability, and quality standards in all solutions Manage the ongoing technical modernisation program (language support, infrastructure versions, patching) Be handson with code when required for proofs of concept (POCs), complex features, or code reviews Stay current with major platform trends (AWS, GCP, MongoDB, .NET) Business & Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with key business stakeholders to drive outcomebased solution design Assist the wider business in a technical capacity during critical events (e.g., major event ingress support) About You Essential experience & skills A minimum of 7 years in software development and 3 years in Solutions Architecture, with proven experience delivering mobile, ecommerce, and webbased solutions Extensive knowledge of Solutions Architecture, SOA/MSA, and applying standards (including UML, security, and reliability patterns) to technical architecture designs Indepth knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and MongoDB Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and design, with basic awareness of Azure and GCP Strong exposure to modern CI/CD practices (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins) and the ability to balance best practice with innovation Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently present and translate complex technical solutions to nontechnical audiences Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field Benefits Complimentary event tickets Birthday and volunteering leave Wellbeing discounts & flu vaccinations Paid parental leave & free employee support (EAP) Global rewards and recognition Learning, development & career pathways A diverse, inclusive, and passionate team Equal Opportunities TEG is an equal opportunity employer committed to embrace diversity, respect, and care for our people and communities.
