What the role looks like Lead, mentor and inspire a passionate team of educators Build strong, trusting relationships with families, community partners and your team Drive high-quality practice and ensure the centre remains safe, supportive and inclusive Oversee staffing, operations and compliance with confidence and care Champion safeguarding and uphold Journeys policies, procedures and child-safe standards Create a culture that reflects Journeys values, vision and commitment to children What you will bring Previous leadership experience within early childhood education A passion for supporting, developing and empowering educatorsStrong knowledge of NQF, compliance and child-safe practices The ability to build a positive, collaborative team culture Exceptional communication skills and a people-first approach A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) Why youll love working at Journey Competitive salary + additional Employee Retention Wage Program allowance Extra day of paid leave (Birthday Leave!)
