Our customers projects have a higher purpose their roads, rail, communications, airports and energy projects are a gateway to a modern prosperous world.Job SummaryIn this role, you will report to the Program Director Airfield, and work alongside the customer with shared responsibility for managing project planning and execution of the airfield program. The program comprises multiple projects including runway, taxiways, aprons, and associated systems technologies.Major ResponsibilitiesSupervise Project Directors and Project Managers and monitor contractor activities.Serve as a liaison between program teams and stakeholders.Ensure processes and procedures are fully developed and implemented.Provide leadership and supervision, engaging proactively with the airfield program teams.Prepare and present reports and forecasts, including summaries of construction progress and expenditure forecasts.Monitor that project teams implement safety policies and procedures.Oversee contractor punch list completion and handover documentation.Participate in bid evaluation, procurement, and award decisions.Monitor contractual commitments and manage change orders, payment claims, and claim mitigation strategies.Education And Experience RequirementsRequires a bachelors or masters degree (or equivalent) and 1315 years of relevant experience or 1719 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge And SkillsDemonstrated experience managing major infrastructure and aviation projects.Knowledge of construction practices, economics, and current design and construction methods.High level of interpersonal and communication skills, with experience delivering leadership and behavioural change in large organisations.Computer literate in MS Office, database applications and BIM environments.Ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining commercial awareness.Total Rewards/BenefitsBechtel offers robust benefits to ensure our people thrive, including career advancement, program delivery support, and opportunities to recharge.Equal Opportunity StatementBechtel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
