Brief Description Youll partner with leaders across the organisation, challenge the status quo, validate critical program deliverables and ensure every workstream hits the mark. Your insights will directly influence executive decisionmaking and shape how risk is managed at scale. Position Accountabilities Build and roll out a clear, consistent and practical assurance approach that guides the program from start to finish. Review, challenge and elevate the quality of project artefacts to facilitate enduser adoption, including policy, process, procedural, training and other guiding materials. Assess inprogress activities, spotting gaps early and helping teams coursecorrect before issues arise. Proactively identify quality risks and recommend sustainable, forwardlooking mitigation strategies. Lead prevet checks of closure deliverables, ensuring they meet the true intent of program requirements. Collaborate with workstream leads to resolve issues and embed better, stronger ways of working. Deliver clear, actionable insights through regular reporting to the PMO and senior stakeholders. Champion continuous improvement, refining assurance practices and lifting quality across the entire program. What Experience Youll Bring 5+ years in risk, assurance or audit within a complex, APRAregulated financial services environment. Handson experience supporting or assuring largescale risk uplift or remediation programmes. Strong capability in setting quality standards and assessing documentation and outcomes with a critical mindset. A knack for identifying issues early, partnering with stakeholders, and guiding teams toward practical solutions. Ability to juggle changing priorities and deliver highquality work under tight timeframes. A proactive approach to identifying emerging risks and shaping strong, thoughtful mitigation strategies. A continuousimprovement mindset and the confidence to influence at all levels of the business.
