Responsibilities: Review and mentor junior engineers Maintain relationships with existing clients Interface between Entura and client Lead connection application studies and GPS compliance assessments Model overlays and validation in PSSE and PSCAD Project manage smaller projects Qualifications & Experience: 7+ years experience, predominantly in grid connections, GPS compliance, and power system studies Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering Practical experience in PSSE, PSCAD, Python and Matlab (highly desired) Desirable: onsite or virtual testing experience Credentials: CPEng, RPEQ, RPEV (ideal) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, both in software and realworld physics Principal Electrical Engineer SCADA Lead delivery of complex SCADA projects, guide innovation, and mentor the next generation of engineers within the Protection and Test Services team. Responsibilities: Lead SCADA system projects, design and configuration Provide expert advice on regulatory compliance, system integration and emerging technologies Act as technical lead on major bids and proposals, supporting business development Manage SCADA documentation, software versions, virtual machines, and clientspecific standards Contribute to financial planning, budgeting and reporting Role is based in Hobart, Melbourne or Adelaide Qualifications & Experience: Postgraduate qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or related field) RPEQ or RPEV accreditation Significant experience in SCADA systems across renewable energy, substations and grid infrastructure Proficiency with multivendor SCADA configurations, RTUs, HMIs and communication protocols Knowledge of Australian electricity industry and regulatory requirements Track record of managing risk, safety, and delivering quality outcomes Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (AESCSF, ISA/IEC 62443) and SCADA integration with AEMO systems Testing, commissioning and estimating experience Project management certification or proven highlevel project delivery capability Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer Work on diverse projects including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro and utilities (transmission and distribution), delivering structural design for transmission lines and substations. Key Requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, suitable for Engineers Australia registration At least 10 years experience in lattice structure design, especially transmission line and substation structures Strong knowledge of AS/NZS Australian Standards (7000, 4100, 3600, 3995, 1170) Experience in PLS Tower, PLS Pole and conductor load development for transmission and substation structures Knowledge of Limit State design method for conductor attachment point loads Experience with lattice tower, pole and gantry analysis, detailing and design Experience with tower augmentation and strengthening works for TL upgrade projects Problemsolving skills through systematic approach or innovation Previous experience in an engineering design consultancy Role ideally based in Tasmanian office; flexible work arrangements and some local, national and international travel required How to Apply Send your CV and cover letter to [email protected] or use the online form.
