This pivotal role holds operational accountability for the Physiotherapy Department, reporting operationally to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and maintaining professional accountability to the Physiotherapy Discipline Advisor. The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership, guiding and managing the physiotherapy service to ensure the delivery of highquality, patientcentred care. You will champion clinical excellence, support staff development, and drive service improvements aligned with NSW Ministry of Health (MoH) and SESLHD policies, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Physiotherapy Department. Lead clinical excellence and support staff development. Selected Criteria Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Extensive clinical and leadership experience as a practising physiotherapist within Womens Health. Ability to provide highlevel leadership and strategic management of staff, resources, and services to meet current and future clinical service requirements. Strong collaborative skills in a multidisciplinary team and ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement. Experience initiating, leading, completing, and sharing quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes, with evidencebased practice. Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills. Current drivers licence (or willingness to travel).
