What Youll Be Doing: Lead and mentor kitchen staff Demonstrate proactive ownership and leadership throughout kitchen operations Work collaboratively with the venue manager in daily and weekly operations Deliver consistent, high-quality food that meets Kostas standards Manage time, priorities, and kitchen tasks with a sense of urgency Drive consistency through recipes, procedures, and quality control Ensure food safety, compliance and cost control are consistently met Manage stock levels, ordering and inventory control within set budgets A passion for hospitality and delivering a memorable customer experience Ensure all open and close down procedures are completed daily What Youll Need: At least 2 years kitchen experience and some leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of food safety and compliance A natural leader who thrives in a fast paced service and fosters team excellence Someone who understands how their work supports the success of the store Strong attention to detail, with a commitment for consistency and quality A good communicator who works well with others Excellent organisational and time management skills Full working rights (no student or working holiday visas, please) What We Offer: Daytime hours only Competitive salary with growth potential Free staff lunch Career development and learning opportunities Fun, passionate, supportive team
